Chap. 572.—An ACT to confirm the proceedings of the common council of tha
city of Newport News relating to the issue and sale of $56,000 bonds of the
city for paving purposes.

Approved December 31, 1903.

1. Be it enacted by the genera] assembly of Virginia, That all pro-
ceedings of the common council of the city of Newport News had or
taken in relation to two certain ordinances passed October sixth, nine-
teen hundred and three, and November third, nineteen hundred and
three, providing for the issue and sale of fifty-six thousand dollar bonds
for paving purposes be, and they are hereby, ratified, approved, and con-
firmed, and the said bonds may be issued accordingly.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
