Chap. 522.—An ACT to repeal an act approved January 23, 1896, in relation to
waiver of a jury in misdemeanor cases.

Approved December 31, 1903.

1. Be it enacted by the genera] assembly of Virginia, That an act ap-
proved January twenty-third, eighteen hundred and ninety-six, entitled
“an act giving a defendant in any case of misdemeanor the right to waive
trial by jury,” be, and the same is hereby, repealed.

2. This act shall be in force on and after the first day of February,
nineteen hundred and four. ,
