Chap. 520.—An ACT to repeal sections 1440, 1480 of the Code of Virginia, as
amended by an act approved January 14, 1890, and 1513 of the Code of Virginia,
and to repeal an act approved May 15, 1903, entitled “an act to put into opera-
tion the provisions of the Constitution relating to the composition and organi-
zation of the State board of education; the election and appointment of its
members; their qualifications; powers and duties of the board; expenses, etc.”

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That sections
yurteen' hundred and forty, fourteen hundred and eighty of the Code of
‘irginia, as amended by. an act approved January fourteenth, eighteen
undred and ninety, and fifteen hundred and thirteen of the Code of Vir-
inia, and also an act entitled “an act to put into operation the pro-
isions of the Constitution relating to the composition and organization
f the State board of education; the election and appointment of its
embers ; their qualifications; powers and duties of the board; expenses,
, cetera,” approved May fifteenth, nineteen hundred and three, be, and
ye same are hereby, repealed.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
