Chap. 404.—An ACT to repeal chapter 692, acts of assembly, session 1897-98,
entitled “an act to fix and regulate the time for holding elections or taking a
vote to ascertain the sense of the qualified voters of a county or counties out
of which a new county is sought to be created and established,” approved March
3, 1898.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, ‘hat chapter six
hundred and ninety-two, acts of assembly, session eighteen hundred and
ninety-seven-eight, entitled “an act to fix and regulate the time for hold-
ing elections or taking a vole to ascertain the sense of the qualified voters
of a county or counties out of which a new county is sought to be created
and established,” approved March third, eighteen hundred and ninety-
cight, be, and the same is hereby, repealed.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
