ginia.

1. Ee it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That section
forty-one hundred and forty-seven of the Code of Virginie be amended
and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
$4147. Allowance to convict on his discharge-—The board, in its di:
cretion, may allow a convict, on his discharge, not exceeding ten dollar
‘The superintendent shall furnish to convicts, when discharged, prope
certificates of transportation to the county or city from which such con
viet was sent, over any road or transportation line embraced in the sched
ule furnished by the State corporation commission; and, if he need it.
