Chap. 75.—An ACT to authorize the board of visitors of William and Mary
College to use the appropriation of 35.000 heretofore made to said college for
an electric ight plant for that or such other svstem of lighting as the said board
mity deem expedient.

Whereas, the general assembly of Virgima did. by an act approved
April second, nineteen hundred and two. appropriating the public revenue
for the two fiseal vears ending, respectively, September thirtieth, nineteen
hundred and two, and September thirtieth, nineteen hundred and three.

Whereas, after careful Inquiry and Investigation it appears that the
annual eost of operating an electric heht plant would very probably be
rrcater than the revennes of the said college could afford; therefore.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the heard
of visitors of William and M: ary College be. and hereby is, authorized and
mpowered to use the said five thousand dollars. heretofore appropriated,
for an electrie Hight plant. or for such other svstem of lighting as the
aid board may deem expedient.
2. This act shall he in force from its passage.
