Chap. 74.—An ACT apprepriating the sum of 820.000 to be used to meet. th
deficit in the appropriation fer the Eastern State Hospital, to complete paximen
of new building and equipment of same, to provide new boilers, for the suppor
of additional patients, and other necessary expenditures.

Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virgimia, That the sum o
twenty thousand dollars be, and the same is hereby, apprepriated out 0
any funds in the treasury not otherwise Approprii ated, to be drawn wpor
the warrant of the president of the board oi directors of the Eastern State
Jfospital, to be used and expended in the following manner—to-wit: The
sum of six thousand one hundred and sixty-two dollars and thirteen cents
to pay the balance due the contractors and architect on the new building
erected at said hospital: the sum of three thousand eight hundred and
thirty-seven dollars and ctehty-seven cents for furnishing said buildiny.
and for rebuilding fence, for steam pipes and putting grounds in order:
the sum of five thousand dollars for the support of additional patients ta
be accommodated in said new building from March first, nineteen hundred
and three, and the sum of five thousand dollars for two new boilers.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
