Chap. 143.—An ACT to prohibit the manufacture or sale of intoxicating liquors
within two miles of the village of Carson, Dinwiduie county, Virginia.
Approved April 10, 1903.
1. Be it enacted by the gencral assembly of Virginia, That it shall be
unlawful for any person, corporation, or co-partnership to manufacture
and sell, or offer to sell, bv sample or representation, or otherwise, any
wine, spirituous or malt liquors, or any mixture thereof, within two
miles of the village of Carson, in the county of Dinwiddie, Virginia.
2. And no license shall be granted for the manufacture or sale of any
wine, spirituous or malt liquors, or any mixture thereof, within two miles
of the said village as aforesaid.
3. If any person, corporation, or co-partnership violate any of the pro-
visions of this act, such person, corporation, or co-partnership shall be
liable to all the penalties imposed by the statute laws of this Common-
wealth for the sale of ardent spirits without license.
4. This act shall be in force from its passage.
