Chap. 79.—An ACT allow the Chuckatuck, Newport News, and Norfolk
steamboat company to erect a wharf on Chuckatuck creek, in Nansemond
county, Virginia.
Approved February 12, 1901.
1. Be it enacted by the gencral assembly of Virginia, That the Chuck-
atuck, Newport News and Norfolk steamboat company be authorized
and permitted to erect a pier or wharf on Chuckatuck creek, in Nanse-
mond county, Virginia, and on the lands of A. G. Upshur, in said county,
and with the consent of the said A. G@. Upshur, subject to all the laws
of the state governing all wharves on the waters of the commonwealth:
and provided, also, that this act shall at all times be under the control
of the general assambly, and be amended or repealed as may be deemed
proper.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
