Chap. 78.—An ACT to allow the Chuckatuck, Newport News, and Norfolk
steamboat company to erect a wharf on Chuckatuck creek, in Nansemond
county, Virginia.
Approved February 12, 1901.
1. Be it enacted by the gencral assembly of Virginia, That the Chuck-
tuck, Newport News and Norfolk steamboat company be authorized
nd permitted to erect a pier or wharf on Chuckatuck creek, in Nanse-
iond county, Virginia, and on the lands of the late T. Q. Gilliam, in
aid county, with the consent of the heirs of the said T. Q. Gilliam,
eceased, subject to all the laws of the state governing all wharves on
he waters of the commonwealth: and provided, also, that this act shall
eat all times under the control of the general assembly, and be amended
t repealed as may be deemed proper.
2. This ace shall be in force from its passage.
