Chap. 6.—An ACT fixing the compensation to laborers hired to work the
public roads in Richmond district in Wise county.

Approved February 1, 1901.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the road
commissioner in Richmond magisterial district, in Wise county, be, and
he is, hereby authorized to pay to laborers hired to work on the public
roads of said district a sum not exceeding one dollar per day of ten hours.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
