Chap. 57.—An ACT to authorize the board of supervisors of Louisa county to
raise money temporarily for the purpose of defraying small-pox or other
extraordinary expenses.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the board
of supervisors of Louisa county be, and they are, hereby authorized to
horrow sutlicient money to cover any deficit of the funds of the county
that has been or may be occasioned by small-pox or other extraordinary
expenses, until the next county levy is laid and collected, and to issue
therefor warrants of the county bearing interest at a rate of not exeeed-
ing six per centum per annum.
