Chap. 56.—An ACT to allow C. W. Thomas further time to collect certain
tax tickets.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That C. W.
Thomas, late treasurer of the city of Roanoke, Virginia, and his depu-
ies be, and they are, hereby allowed the further time of one year from
he passage of this act to distrain for and collect all tax tickets in his
lands, uncollected, and for which he has settled with the state of Vir-
rinia and city of Roanoke, for the vears eighteen hundred and ninety-
ive, eighteen hundred and ninety-six, eighteen hundred and ninety-
even, eighteen hundred and ninety-eight and eighteen hundred and
ninety-nine.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
