Chap. 349.—A JOINT RESOLUTION of the two houses of the general assembly
of Virginia authorizing and directing the secretary of the commonwealth
to furnish the librarian of congress certain of the state publications neces-
sary to complete the files in said library.
Approved February 16, 1901.
Resolved by the senate and house of delegates, That the seeretary of the
commonwealth and general librarian be, and he is, hereby authorized and
directed to furnish to the librarian of congress for use in the congres-
sional library at Washington, D. C., such copies of the annual reports,
journals of the two houses of the general assembly, public documents and
debates, codes and acts as may he necessary to complete the files of the
state publications in said library: provided, that by so doing he does not
reduce the number of any of the aforesaid volumes below the amount now
required by law to be kept for the use of the state.
