Chap. 340.—An ACT to prohibit the sale of all kinds of cider in Concord
precinct, Campbell county, except apple cider, without liquor license, and
to prescribe the penalty therefor.
Approved February 16, 1901.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That it shall be
unlawful for any person or persons to sell within the limits of Concord
voting precinct of Campbell county, or within one mile of Concord depot,
any kind of cider or beverage or mixture called cider, except a licensed
liquor dealer: provided, however, that nothing in this act shall prevent
any person from selling, without any license, cider made from apples
grown on his own land,
2. Any person, firm, or corporation violating this act shall be punished
as for selling liquor without license.
3. This act shall be in force from ils passage.
