Chap. 312.—An ACT to amend an act approved March 4, 1896, entitled an act
to amend and re-enact an act entitled an act to provide a method of voting
by ballot, approved March 6, 1894, by suspending the operation of section
20 of said act at the election to be held on the fourth Thursday in May,
1901.

Approved February 16, 1901.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That section
twenty of an act approved March fourth, eighteen hundred and nincty-
six, entitled an act to amend and re-enact an act entitled an act to
provide for a method of voting by ballot, approved March sixth, eigh-
teen hundred and ninety-four, shall not be applicable to the election to be
held on the fourth Thursday in May. nineteen hundred and one; but in
said election all of the other provisions in said act shall be applicable.
and said election shal] be held and conducted in the same manner as is
provided for the election of the members of the general assembly of
Virginia.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
