Chap. 297.—An ACT to authorize Willard H. Owens to erect a wharf on Cock-
rell’s creek, in the county of Northumberland.
Approved February 16, 1901.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That Willard H.
Owens, of the county of Northumberland, be, and he is, hereby author-
ized to erect a wharf on Cockrell’s creek, on the land of the said Willard
H. Owens, in the county of Northumberland, subject to all the laws of
the state governing wharves erected in the waters of the commonwealth:
provided, that the said wharf shall not obstruct navigation nor inter-
fere with any private right: and, provided also, that this act shall at all
times be under the control of the general assembly, and be amended or
repealed as may be deemed proper.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
