Chap. 287.—An ACT to authorize the auditor of public accounts to issue a
duplicate for the school warrant of Greene county, and to take from the
treasurer of said county an indemnifying bond.

Approved February 16, 1901.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the auditor
f public accounts, upon the production of satisfactory evidence that the
chool warrant of the county of Greene for the year nineteen hundred,
umber forty-six, dated November first. nineteen hundred, for the sum
f two thousand six hundred and seventy-seven dollars and ninety-nine
ents has been lost, shall issue a duplicate of said warrant: provided,
hat the said auditor shall take from KE. W. Sims, treasurer of Greene
ounty. a bond of indemnity in the penalty of three thousand dollars,
vith proper security, conditioned to save the commonwealth from loss by
reason of the issuing of said duplicate.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
