Chap. 28.—An ACT to authorize and empower the board of supervisors of
Culpeper county to employ physicians, by the year, to attend the sick pau-
pers in each magisterial district, and to employ a physician to attend the
sick at the poorhouse.
Approved February 2, 1901.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the board
of supervisors of Culpeper county be, and they are, hereby authorized
and empowered to employ one physician yearly, for each magisterial dis-
trict, to attend the sick paupers therein, and one physician to attend the
sick at the poorhouse of Culpeper county. The said board of supervisors
are authorized to enter into yearly contracts with physicians employed
under this act. :
2. The board of supervisors of Culpeper county are further author-
ized to pay all physicians employed under the provisions of this act out
of the county levy: provided, in no case do they allow any physician em-
ployed under this act more than one hundred dollars for services in any
one year.
3. This act shall be in force from its passage.
