Chap. 275.—An ACT requiring the superintendent of the state penitentiary
to give certain information relating to bids and bidders for supplies for
said institution.

1. Be it enacted by the gencral assembly of Virginia, That the super-
intendent of the state penitentiary of Virginia shall, upon the request of
any citizen, give any information as to name of bidder or bidders, amount
of bid or bids, and quantity contracted for, of such supplies as are fur-
nished under advertisements for bids at said penitentiary within thirty
days after such contract has been consummated.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
