Chap. 253.—An ACT to authorize the board of supervisors of the county of
Hanover, in their discretion, to pay the jailer of said county annually such
an amount as may be necessary to cover the costs of fuel for heating the
county jail.

Approved February 16, 1901.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the board
of supervisors of the county of Hanover be, and they are, hereby author-
ized, in their discretion, to pay to the jailer of said county annually such
sum or sums as may be necessary to defray the costs of furnishing fuel
for heating the jail of said county.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
