Chap. 197.—An ACT to authorize the board of supervisors of the county of
Warwick, in their discretion, to pay the sheriff of said county annually
such an amount as may be necessary to cover the costs of fuel for heating
the county jail.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the board
of supervisors of the county of Warwick be, and they are, hereby author-
ized, in their discretion, to pay to the sheriff of said county annually such
sum or sums as may be necessary to defray the costs of furnishing fuel
for the heating the jail of said county, or has been furnished within past

ear.
, 2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
