Chap. 176.—An ACT for the relief of Mrs. Fannie J. Wren.
Approved February 15, 1901.
Whcreas Fannie J. Wren was erroneously assessed with taxes and levies
on the land books of Henrico county, Virginia, as follows: on one hun-
dred and twenty by one hundred and ten feet, square one hundred and
twenty-seven, Graham street, Fulton, eighteen hundred and ninety-three,
value of buildings, two thousand dollars; value of lot, including build-
ings, two thousand two hundred and forty dollars; on which the total
taxes and levies for eighteen hundred and ninety-three amounted to
twenty-one dollars and forty-eight cents; and on the same land, valued
at two hundred dollars, and the same buildings, valued at two thousand
dollars, for the year eighteen hundred and ninety-four, on which the
total taxes and levies for eighteen hundred and ninety-four amounted to
twenty-one dollars and twelve cents; and on the same land and buildings
for eighteen hundred and ninety-five, at the same valuation of two hun-
dred dollars for said land and two thousand dollars for said buildings,
on which the total taxes and levies for eighteen hundred and ninety-five
amounted to twenty-one dollars and twelve cents, all of which taxes and
levies for said years cighteen hundred and ninety-three, eighteen hun-
dred and ninety-four and eighteen hundred and ninety-five were unpaid
and returned delinquent, and sold to, and purchased by the common-
wealth of Virginia; and
Whereas there were no buildings or improvements whatsoever on said
land during those years or at any other time; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the clerk
of the county court of Henrico county, Virginia, is hereby authorized
and directed to accept from Fannie J. Wren, or her representative, the
sum of six dollars and fourteen cents and interest to date of payment in
full payment for all delinquent taxes and levies against said property
for the vears eighteen hundred and ninety-three, eighteen hundred and
ninety -four and eighteen hundred and ninety- -five, and upon the receipt
of said six dollars and fourteen cents and interest. to mark the said taxes
fully paid for said years, and said land redeemed.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
