Chap. 159.—An ACT for the protection of crabs in the waters of Lynnhaven
river and its tributaries in the county of Princess Anne.
Approved February 14, 1901.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That it shall be
unlawful for any person or persons to catch or impound crabs in the
waters of Lynnhaven river or its tributaries in the county of Princess
Anne, between the first day of September and the fifteenth day of No-
vember of each year, or at any time from one hour after sunset to one
hour before sunrise of the succeeding day.
2. Any person violating the provisions of this act shall be deemed
guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined not less than
ten nor more than fifty dollars for each offense.
3. This act shall be in force from its passage.
