Chap. 158.—An ACT authorizing the trustees of Franklin town school district

in Southampton county, Virginia, to borrow money to build and repair
school houses, and secure payment of same by deed of trust on said school
buildings and lots.

Approved February 14, 1901.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That W. H.
1. Goodman, R. E. Ju. Watkins, and J. P. [olland, trustees of Franklin
own school district, in Southampton county, Virginia, be, and the same
ire. hereby authorized and empowered to horrow the sum of one thousand
lollars, or any sum less than that amount, for the purpose of building
yr repairing the public school buildings in said school district, give bond
for the said money, and to secure the payment of the same by a deed of
trust on the said school buildings and lots.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
