Chap. 139.—An ACT to allow Charles B. Godwin to erect a wharf on the
Nansemond river, in Nansemond county, Virginia.
Approved February 14, 1901.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That Charles
B. Godwin, of Nansemond county, Virginia. be, and is, hereby author-
ized and permitted to erect a wharf upon his land, on Nansemond river,
at Holladay’s point, in said county, with a water front of one hundred
feet. and extending to the channel of said river, subject to all the laws
of the state governing all wharves erected on the waters of the common-
wealth: and provided, also, that this act shall at all times be under the
control of the general assembly, and be amended or repealed as may
he deemed proper.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
