Chap. 606.—An ACT to authorize the board of supervisors of Elizabeth City
county to levy and collect an additional school tax in any one or more of the
school districts of said county.

Approved April 2, 1902. .

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the board of
supervisors of Elizabeth City county be, and it is hereby, authorized and
empowered to levy and collect an additional school tax to that now au-
thorized by law in any one or more school districts of said county: pro-
vided, that such additional school tax hereby authorized shall not exced
twenty cents on each one hundred dollars of the assessed valuation o!
taxable property.

2. This act shall be in force from and after its passage.
