Chap. 528.—An ACT to prohibit the manufacture and sale of intoxicating liquors
within two miles of the village of Stony Creek, Sussex county, Virginia.
Approved April 2, 1902.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That it shall be
unlawful for any person, corporation, or co-partnership to manufacture,
sell, or offer to sell, by sample or representation or otherwise, any wine,
spirituous or malt liquors, or any mixture thereof, within two miles of
the village of Stony Creek, in the county of Sussex, Virginia.
2. And no license shall be granted for the manufacture and sale of
any wine, spirituous or malt liquors, or any mixture thereof, within two
miles of the said village as aforesaid.
3. If any person, corporation, or co-partnership violate any of the pro-
visions of this act, such person, corporation, or co-partnership shall be
liable to all the penalties imposed by the statute laws of this Common-
wealth for the sale of ardent spirits without license.
4, This act shall be in force from its passage.
