Chap. 441.—An ACT for the relief of E. W. Carpenter, treasurer of Rockinghan
county, and his deputies, granting further time for collection of taxes, ete.

Approved March 29, 1902.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That E. W
Carpenter, treasurer of Rockingham county, and his deputies be, and an
hereby, allowed one year from the passage of this act in which to distrai
and levy for and collect any uncollected tax tickets and levies in thei
hands not returned delinquent or insolvent, and for which the said treas
urer has settled with the auditor of public accounts and with the board o
supervisors for the year eighteen hundred and ninety-nine.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
