1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the boar

of supervisors of Appomattox county be, and they are hereby, authorize
id empowered, in their discretion, to make an appropriation not exceed-
i¢ two hundred dollars to aid in the erection of a monument in the
yunty of Appomattox in memory of the Confederate dead.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
