Chap. 22.—JOINT RESOLUTION to suspend the operation of the act approved
March 6, 1890, and acts amendatory thereof, entitled an act to require the pay-
ment of fees on certain charters so far as it applies to the charter of incorpora-
tion of any company that may be authorized by the general assembly for the
purpose of celebrating the ter-centenary of the founding of Jamestown.

1. Resolved bv the Senate (the House of Delegates concurring), That
the operation of an act approved March sixth, eighteen hundred and
ninety, entitled an act to amend and re-enact an act entitled an act to
require the payment of fees on certain charters, approved February tenth,
eighteen hundred and ninety, as amended and re-enacted bv an act ap-
proved February twenty-cighth, eighteen hundred and ninety, and fur-
ther amended and re-enacted by an act approved January twenty-second,
eighteen hundred and ninety-four, and further amended and re-enacted
by an act approved March third, cighteen hundred and ninety-six, and
as further amended and re-enacted by an act approved March first, eigh-
teen hundred and ninety-eight, be suspended so far as the provisions of
said act shall apply to the charter of incorporation of any company that
may be authorized by the general assembly for the purpose of cclebrating
the ter-centenary of the founding of Jamestown.
2. Resolved, That the clerks of the two houses be authorized and in-
structed to refer the same to the proper committee when introduced, with-
out requiring the prepayment of charter fees required by said act.
