Chap. 934.—An ACT for the relief of Joseph R. Miley, a Confederate soldier.

Whereas Joseph R. Miley, of Shenandoah county, was a true and
gallant soldier of Virginia, in the military service of the Confederate
state, and who is now sixty-two years old and has been disabled by
bodily infirmities to perform any labor, and by reason of his disability
ig very poor and without means of support; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That upon
proof before the county court of Shenandoah county of the foregoing
facts, and the certificate of the same by the said court to the auditor
of public accounts, the said auditor shall place the name of the said
Joseph R. Miley upon the pension rolls, and there shall then be paid
to the said Joseph R. Miley annually, the sum of fifteen dollars out
of the treasury of the state upon the warrant of the auditor of public
accounts, on and after April first, nineteen hundred.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
