Chap. 912.—An ACT for the relief of Susan Heflin, widow of a Confederate
soldier.

Whereas Susan Heflin, widow of Marshall Heflin, a Confederate
soldier of Virginia who was wounded in the late war and who has since
then died from the effects of wounds and exposure incurred in the ser-
vice of the Confederate states, is disabled by old age, is very infirm, is
now indigent and unalle to support herself, and there is no one legally
bound for her support; therefore,
1. Be it enacted bv the general assembly of Virginia, That if the
said Susan Heflin shall produce to the auditor of public accounts a
certificate of the judge of the county court of Stafford county certify-
ing to the truth of the above facts, the said auditor is hereby directed
to place said Susan Heflin on the pension rolls at the rate paid widows
under the general pension law.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
