pharmacist.
Approved March 6, 1900.
Whereas W. W. Childs, of the county of Goochland, in this state, had
had, prior to the first day of June, eighteen hundred and eighty-seven,
more than three years’ practical experience in the preparation of phv-
sicians’ prescriptions and in compounding and retailing medicines and
poisons in this state; and
Whereas the said W. W. Childs failed to avail himself of the act of
assembly, approved May sixth, eighteen hundred and eighty-seven, en-
titled an act to amend and re-enact sections six and twelve of an act,
approved March third, eighteen hundred and eighty-six, entitled an act
to incorporate the Virginia pharmaceutical association, and to regulate
the practice of pharmacy, and to guard the sale of poisons in the state
of Virginia; and
Whereas there is no practicing pharmacist now in the county of
Goochland, and the presence of a practical pharmacist in the county
will be a great convenience to the people; now, therefore,

board of pharmacy of the state of Virginia are hereby authorized and
directed, upon satisfactory evidence being produced before the said
board that W. W. Childs has had not less than three years’ practical
