Chap. 886.—An ACT to extend the time in which R. D. Buford, ex-clerk of
Bedford county court, may collect fee bills.
Approved March 6, 1900.
Whereas the duties of the office of the county clerk of Bedford county
court were so exacting and onerous during the term of office of R. D.
Buford, ex-clerk of said county court, so as to engross the time and
attention of said ex-clerk, that he could not devote attention to the
collection of his fee bills; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
time be extended one year from the date of the approval of this act
in which the said R. D. Buford, ex-clerk of the county court of Bedford
county, may collect his fee bills, said one year to be in addition to the
provisions of section thirty-five hundred and twenty of the code of
eighteen hundred and eighty-seven.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
