Chap. 88.—An ACT to permit C. W. Grandy, of the city of Norfolk, to erect,
maintain and rebuild a wharf on James river, in Charles City county,
Virginia.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That C. W.
Grandy, of Norfolk, Virginia, be, and he is hereby authorized to erect,
maintain and rebuild a wharf adjoining to and opposite the land of
Murdaugh and Mayo, at Sturgeon point, on James river, in the county
of Charles City, state of Virginia: provided, that such wharf shall not
obstruct navigation; and provided further, that this act shall at all times
be under the control of the general assembly.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
