Chap. 872.—An ACT for the relief of Mary J. Webb by refunding certain
State taxes erroneously paid by her.

Whereas Mary J. Webb has erroneously paid the state taxes upon
a certain house and lot owned by her in the city of Winchester, Virginia,
for the years eighteen hundred and ninety, eighteen hundred and ninety-
one, eighteen hundred and ninety-two, eighteen hundred and ninety-
three, eighteen hundred and ninety-four, eighteen hundred and ninety-
six, eighteen hundred and ninety-seven, eighteen hundred and ninety-
eight, and eighteen hundred and ninety-nine, amounting in the aggre-
gate to the sum of thirteen dollars and thirty-nine cents; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
auditor of public accounts is hereby authorized to pay to the said Marvy
J. Webb, out of the public moneys not otherwise appropriated, the
sum of thirteen dollars and thirty-nine cents, the same being the amount
of taxes erroneously paid by her.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
