Chap. 870.—An ACT to authorize the several] district school boards of the
county of Nansemond to expend any part of the surplus district school
fund for pay of teachers.

Approved March 6, 1900.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That it shall
be lawful for the several district school boards of the county of Nanse-
mond to transfer any part of the surplus district school fund to the
respective district county school fund, and expend the same in the pay-
ment of teachers’ salaries.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
