Chap. 869.—An ACT to regulate the sale of cider and other intoxicants in
the village of Fork Union, Fluvanna county, Virginia.

1. Be it enacted hy the general assembly of Virginia, That it shall
be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation, partnership or associa-
tion, to sell or offer for sale in the village of Pork Union, Fluvanna
county, Virginia, or within one mile thereof, any cider or other intoxi-
cant by retail, or to be drunk where sold.
Any person violating the provisions of this act, shall be deemed
cuilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be fined
not less than twenty nor more than fifty dollars for the first offense,
and be confined in jail not exceeding thirty days; one-half of the fine
to go to the informer, and one-half to the commonwealth.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
