Chap. 850.—An ACT for the relief of Henry E. Barksdale, a disabled Con-
federate soldier.

Whereas Henry E. Barksdale, of Charlotte county, Virginia, was a
gallant Confederate soldier; served as such in company , second
Virginia cavalry; and
Whereas he is totally disabled for the performance of manual labor,
on account of injuries received in said service, is old, and without other
means of support; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the "general assembly of Virginia, That upon
the proof of the foregoing facts before the county court ‘of Charlotte
county, Virginia, and the certificate of the same to the auditor of public
accounts, the said auditor shall place the name of the said Henrv
FE. Barksdale on the pension roll of the state, and pav him annually
the sum of fifteen dollars on and after the first day of April, ninetcen
hundred.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
