Chap. 848.—An ACT for the relief of R. T. Tucker, of Appomattox county.

Whereas R. T. Tucker enlisted in the Confederate army from Hali-
fax county, Virginia, as a member of company “A,” twenty-sixth regi-
ment of Wise’s infantry brigade, and while serving in said company
was wounded in the head and shoulder at Halfway House, in Chesterfield
county, Virginia, on the second day of June, eighteen hundred and sixty-
three, in consequence of which wound he has been a sufferer ever since,
and is unable to perform manual labor for his support—
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
auditor of public accounts is hereby directed to place the name of the
said R. T. Tucker on the pension rolls for a pension of fifteen dollars
when the fact as heretofore alleged shall be found before the county
court of Appomattox county and certified to the auditor of public
accounts by said court.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
