Chap. 843.—An ACT to authorize and empower the trustees of the parsonage
property, located at Batesville, Virginia, of the Batesville circuit of the Vir-
ginia conference of the Methodist Episcopal church, south, to sell and convey
its old parsonage; to collect and re-invest the proceeds in another parsonage.

Whereas the trustees of the parsonage property, located at Batesville,
Virginia, of the Batesville circuit of the Virginia conference of the
Methodist Episcopal church, south, have purchased a new parsonage
property for the said circuit: now, therefore, |
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
said trustees be, and are hereby, authorized and empowered to sell the
old parsonage property of the said Batesville circuit for the sum of
eight hundred dollars, and to convey the title of the same to the pur-
chaser, and to receive the said eight hundred dollars and apply the same
to the purchase of the new parsonage. .
2. This act shell be in force from its passage,
