Chap. 842.—An ACT to provide a vacation for the guards of the Virginia peni-
tentiary and state farm.

Approved March 6, 1900.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That annually
hereafter cach guard at the Virginia penitentiary and state farm shall
have during the vear (15) fifteen days’ vacation without deduction of
pay, said vacation to be on consecutive davs or at stated periods, in
the discretion of the superintendent of said penitentiary.

2. All acts or parts of acts in conflict with this act are hereby
repealed.

3. This act shall be in force from its passage.
