Chap. 83.—An ACT authorizing the courts of this commonwealth to require
no security, other than its own obligation, of the Lynchburg trust and sav-
ings bank, when under the provisions of its charter it is appointed by any
such court, executor, administrator, guardian, committee, receiver, trustee
or other fiduciary.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the courts
of this commonwealth be, and are hereby, authorized and empowered
to require no security, other than its own obligation, of the Lynchburg
trust and savings bank whenever such bank may be appointed under the
powers granted it by its charter, executor, administrator, guardian, com-
mittee, receiver, trustee, or other fiduciary. But this shall -
strued as depriving the courts of the right to require such
in their opinion such security may be necessary to the sa
trust which the said bank may propose to undertake.
2. That any court in which the said bank may have qual.

to time, on its own motion, or on the motion of any persor
in the funds to be administered by the said bank, should
advisable, appoint suitable person or persons to investigate
and management of the said bank, who shall report to suc
manner in which the investments of the said bank are mad
in which its business is conducted, and whether or not in
of the person or persons so appointed, the said bank is in a
solvent condition, in order that the said court may determi
the trust confided to the bank shall be continued.
3. This act shall be in force from its passage.
