Chap. 818.—An ACT for the relief of John C. Hall, ex-treasurer of Franklin
county, to give him and his former deputies powers of levy and distress to
collect certain uncollected tax tickets now in his possession, and for which
he has accounted to the proper fiscal agents.

Whereas John C. Hall, late treasurer of Franklin county, has in his
hands various tax tickets for which he has accounted to the state and
county; therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
said John C. Hall, fomerly treasurer, as aforesaid, and his former
deputies, shall have the same powers of levy and distress as is now pos-
sessed by treasurers under the revenue laws, until September first,
nineteen hundred, to collect said uncollected tax tickets now in his hands
for the year eighteen hundred and ninety-four, and for all the years
thereafter for which he was treasurer of the county aforesaid, for which
he has accounted to the proper fiscal agents of the state and county.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
