Chap. 803.—An ACT for relief of W. L. Rye, of Halifax county.
Approved March 6, 1900.
Whereas the county court of the county of Halifax did enter into a
contract with W. L. Rye for the maintenance and support of W. E.
Bray, a lunatic; and
Whereas the sheriff of the county inadvertently failed to make ap-
plication for admission of said lunatic to the asylums of the state as the
law directs; and
Whereas said W. L. Rve did faithfully carry out and execute his
aforesaid contract with said court, by virtue whereof the state of Vir-
ginia is justly indebted to him in the sum of ninety-two dollars ($92.00);
now, therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the auditor
of publie accounts be, and he is hereby, directed to draw a warrant in
favor of W. I. Rve for the aforesaid sum of ninety-two dollars ($92.00)
in full of his claim for the maintenance and support of W. E. Bray,
a lunatic, under this above mentioned contract with the county court
of Ifalifax county. ,
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
