Chap. 802.—An ACT enabling the personal representative of Sallie H. Kramer
to pay certain moneys to the trustees of the Christian church in Strasburg,
Virginia, under provisions of her will.

Whereas Mistress Sallie H. Kramer, who recently died in the county
of Shenandoah, Strasburg, Virginia, by her last will and testament,
which was probated at the county court of Shenandoah county on the
thirteenth day of November, eighteen hundred and ninety-seven, di-
rected that her personal representative should pay among other things
after the death of Mistress Annie M. Hupp to the trustees of the Chris-
tian church of Strasburg, Virginia, one-third of her personal estate,
consisting of money, bonds, and stocks, to be used in remodeling or im-
roving the church building, and paving the, or any, debt remain-
ing on the parsonage of said church; and
Whereas there are legal objections and technical insufficiencies to
the manner and form in which the same is given; now, therefore, in
order to remove said objection and insufficiencies, and to make said
will and said bequest valid, and to authorize the payment thereof to the
trustees of said church bv the personal representative of said Sallie
H. Kramer at the death of Mistress Annie M. Hupp,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That under the
eighth clause, section three, of the said will of Mistress Sallie H. Kra-
mer, which is as follows: “I give and bequeath one-third to the trus-
tees of the Christian church, worshipping at Strasburg, Shenandoah
county, Virginia, known as the disciples of Christ, to be used in remod-
eling or improving the church building, and paying the, or any, debt
remaining on the parsonage of said church ”—be, and the same is hereby,
legalized and made valid, and the personal representative of said Sallie
H. Kramer is hereby authorized to pay the said amount over to the
trustees of the said church at the death of Mistress Annie M. Hupp.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
