Chap. 750.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 2 6f chapter 712 of the
acts of 1897 and 1898, approved March 3, 1898, entitled an act to incorporate
the Princess Anne, Cape Henry and Lynnhaven bay railway company.
Approved March 6, 1900.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That section
two of chapter seven hundred and twelve of the acts of eighteen hundred
and ninety-seven and eighteen hundred and ninety-eight, approved March
third, eighteen hundred and ninety-eight, be amended and re-enacted so
as to read as follows:
<2. The said company may construct, equip, and maintain a railroad
from some point near the Princess Anne hotel, along or near the beach to
some point on Lynnhaven bay, for the transportation of passengers and
freight, or either of them, by electricity, steam, or any power hereafter
discovered that may be adapted to the use of the said company, and for
such transportation may charge fares or tolls; and in the construction of
the said road, the said company is hereby authorized to use any street
or streets laid out upon plats of lands in the said line of the proposed
road, whether the same have been dedicated to the public use and ac-
cepted by the public or not.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
