Chap. 715.—An ACT to re-enact an act entitled an act to prohibit the catch-
ing of fish with seines, weirs, and nets in lake Drummond, approved Feb-
ruary 26, 1896.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That it shall
be unlawful for any person to fish in the waters of lake Drummond,
in Norfolk and Nansemond counties, by seines, weirs, drive nets, dip
nets, set nets, or in any other way or manner except angling with hook
and line, for the term of five years from the passage of this act.
2. Any person guilty of violating the provisions of this act shall be
deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be
fined ten dollars for each offense, and be imprisoned in jail until the
fine is paid, but not exceeding thirty days, and forfeit all nets or other
contrivances employed by him in such violation.
3. This act shall be in force from its passage.
