Chap. 700.—An ACT to authorize the county school board of James City
county to compensate school trustees.

Approved March 3, 1900.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
county school board of James City county may, in its discretion, com-
pensate school trustees at the rate of one dollar per day for actual
attendance on meetings of the county school board, payable from county
school funds: provided; however, that no trustee as aforesaid shall re-
ceive more than ten dollars in any one year for services rendered on
said county school board.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
